Keeping our sanity

I love Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.   We don't want to stay hooked with the past, but move into the future that we choose!    I would be so pleased to work with you to help you manage these moments better, try the below activity.

Common CounllinG Topics and questions

Do I need counselling?

Many people seek counselling when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit — counselling can also support personal growth and coping.

What to expect in your first counselling session

The first session is a gentle introduction where concerns, goals, and expectations are discussed. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with.

How does family counselling work?

Family dynamics can be complex and challenging. Our family counseling services are here to help you navigate through the challenges and build stronger relationships. We work with families of all sizes and backgrounds to help them communicate better, resolve conflicts, and build stronger bonds.

Natalie brings a compassionate, non-judgemental and strengths-based approach to her work. She has a strong interest in how personal history, attachment patterns and intergenerational trauma influence parenting, emotional regulation and relationships. Her work supports parents to better understand their own responses, build emotional safety, and strengthen connection with their children.

How trauma can affect teenagers

Trauma can impact emotional regulation, behaviour, relationships, and learning in young people. Counselling provides a safe space for teens to process experiences and develop coping strategies.

Why Telehealth?

We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect  from the comfort of your own home. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient and can be either with video or without video.

Signs of Unresolved trauma

Unresolved trauma may present as anxiety, emotional numbness, anger, relationship difficulties, or physical stress symptoms. Counselling can help explore and address these patterns safely.
